To achieve net-zero emissions and lead the world in electric drive technology, the United States urgently needs a comprehensive and diverse network of electric charging and fueling stations to serve interstate, regional and local transportation needs. The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 23 other organizations to create the National EV Charging Initiative, pledging to collaborate with government partners and stakeholders, to speed the build-out of the essential infrastructure for an electric drive fleet.
