The Alabama Department of Economics and Community Affairs (ADECA) administers the EV Infrastructure Program. Government and non-government entities are eligible to receive up to $500,000 for the installation of direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations along Interstate 22 in Alabama. ADECA also offers grants of up to $250,000 for the installation of Level 2 or DCFC stations along non-interstate corridors. All EV charging stations must be publicly accessible.
